The Infinite is a neoclassical dark wave band from Austria. Their music is inspired by classic and is produced entirely by keyboard. On this basis, released four albums so far Dargaard.
History
Dargaard was founded in 1997 by Tharen. Tharen had until then played in several underground bands, among others, Abigor and Amestigon, both black metal bands and Dominion III, an electrical project. He was a keyboardist with Abigor, the projects Amestigon, Dominion III and Dargaard are, however, completely under his leadership. Dargaard was born out of Tharens desire to move away from black metal and more expressed by classical and ambient music.
Elizabeth was later added as a singer Toriser. Also as a singer, she previously served with the bands III and Dominion Antichrisis. The latter, she left because of musical differences. According to Elizabeth Toriser Tharen working casually on another project with acoustic guitars, which even today there are no publications.
In October 1998, Dargaard on their debut album Eternity Rites in the studios Hoernix. Tharen composed the songs here, while Elizabeth wrote the lyrics. The album was released by the record company, Napalm Records, was contracted in Tharen already by his former band activities. This is also the reason why no demos Dargaard published. Eternity Rites was very well received by the metal and dark wave fans.
In August 1999 the band returned to the studio and began work on the second album on 3 Published June 2000 through Napalm Records under the title In Nomine aeternitatis was well received and got again. Then put Dargaard continued her musical journey and published in June 2001, the Dissolution of Eternity album. In March 2004, the last work appeared in preliminary Rise and Fall.
Dargaard despite release break still active. The band recorded but to date no live performances. Also, extended tours are not completed according Tharen due to personal concessions.
Maybe it was worth writing about this group in the post in the "Gothic", however, I would have attributed this band to a completely independent genre, although the masses is certainly not the case. When I first tried to describe them - it was really hard. Even within a single song album seemed noticeably different, even in the atmosphere, but that they were united, still wonder - what it is.
